Malika began her career at KinderCare Learning Center almost 2 years ago. She grew up in New Jersey where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Special Education. She holds teaching certificates as Teacher of the Handicapped and Teacher of Elementary Education as well as Supervisory certification. Malika is married with three children; her youngest currently attends a KinderCare center. She consdiers herself "lucky" to have found her passion early in life and calls educating young minds her "life's work". She is committed to creating a haven for families and children where they can feel confident and be free to express their creativity and grow their minds. She believes in and supports her teachers who create lifelong learners by teaching children how to think, not what to think.
Elisia has worked with all of our age specific classrooms for the past three years. She also teaches the Music Learning Adventures program. She has worked with children since she was 13 years old. Elisia started by being a helper at her church's vacation bible school program. She began babysitting and volunteering for many years until she found her place with our KinderCare family. Elisia minored in music performance, so nothing makes her happier than moving around, singing and playing instruments. She enjoys teaching and learning with her class about shapes, colors, nutrition and the world around us. Elisia truly loves her job and the children and co-workers she sees every day.

Her classroom is bursting with learning! A must see!
